SIEA: Companies can now apply for a contribution for the installation of photovoltaic panels and wind turbines

An energy audit is a mandatory annex to the application
Companies interested in receiving a contribution of up to 50,000 euros must submit an application for a voucher through the information system available on the website zelenapodnikom.sk. The basic condition is that they belong to the category of micro, small or medium-sized enterprises and carry out economic activity, while not operating in excluded sectors of the economy.

Applicants must also have prepared a purpose-built energy audit, which is a mandatory annex to the application. They can also receive support for this, up to a maximum of 2,500 euros.

Entrepreneurs can apply for a contribution for multiple devices
A company can apply for a contribution for both types of electricity generation equipment in one application. However, if it wants to receive support for photovoltaics and heat pumps or solar collectors, it must do so through two applications. According to the general terms and conditions of the project, an application for a voucher cannot contain a combination of heat/cold generation equipment and electricity generation equipment.

If a company submits multiple applications, the maximum amount of aid is 50,000 euros in total for all submitted applications.

The maximum eligible expenses for all devices supported by the Green Enterprise SIEA have been published in the special conditions for that particular stage of the project.

The company has 6 months to install the device

After submitting the application in the information system, it is added to the waiting list of applications, which is published on the project website. A check follows, during which SIEA checks the applicant's eligibility and whether his application is correctly completed and whether it contains all mandatory attachments.

A necessary condition for submitting an application for the issuance of a voucher is also a set of data for monitoring renewable energy sources. It must be sent on the appropriate form, which is also available on the official project website www.zelenapodnikom.sk.

If SIEA completes the administrative check by approving the application for the issuance of a voucher, it sends the company a contract for signing along with the voucher. After the contract is published in the central register of contracts and enters into force, a 6-month period begins during which the company must install the equipment and request reimbursement of the voucher.

17.9 million euros are allocated for photovoltaics and wind turbines in BSK
According to special conditions, a total of 17.9 million euros have been allocated for the installation of photovoltaic panels and wind turbines in companies from the Bratislava Self-Governing Region. Applications that exceed the allocation amount will be placed in the application pool and SIEA will only start assessing them when the funds are released.

More than 17 million are available
For companies from the Bratislava Self-Governing Region that want to apply for a contribution to install electricity generation equipment, 17.9 million euros are available at this stage of the project.

Other regions of Slovakia will have their own allocation. Its amount will be published on the project website in the special conditions for the next stage of the project in less developed regions.
