The first stage of the project has ended, companies will be able to submit new applications in 2026
In the first phase of the Green for Enterprises project, the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) received more than a thousand applications for a voucher for the installation of equipment using renewable energy sources. Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises have so far been most interested in the installation of photovoltaic panels and heat pumps. Entrepreneurs will be able to submit new applications for the contribution again in 2026.
The eligible period for submitting applications for a Green Enterprises voucher for the installation of photovoltaic panels and wind turbines in a less developed region ended on 16 December 2025 at 10:00 a.m., according to the Special Conditions. With the expiration of this deadline, the entire first stage of the project also ended. This means that micro, small and medium-sized enterprises can no longer apply for a voucher for the installation of equipment for the production of electricity, heat or cold throughout Slovakia. SIEA expects to open the next stage for submitting applications for a contribution for the installation of equipment in 2026, and the exact date will be published in good time on the project website zelenapodnikom.sk.
Status of disbursement
The Green Enterprises project has allocated EUR 66.56 million for the installation of environmentally friendly equipment that helps entrepreneurs reduce energy costs and increase their energy self-sufficiency. Of this, more than 22.15 million are intended for the Bratislava region and 44.41 million euros for other regions of Slovakia. Currently, approximately 30.8 million euros (approximately 46.44 percent of the total allocation) are reserved for installations from submitted applications, the remaining more than 35 million euros are still available (the amounts were updated after including the latest applications from 16. 12. 2025).
Maximum 50,000 for a company
The Green for Enterprises project is financed from the European Regional Development Fund through the Slovakia Programme. The project can support the installation of photovoltaic panels (including storage), solar collectors, heat pumps and wind turbines in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, with the maximum contribution being 50,000 euros for one company.
